Advocacy what it means to me Empty Advocacy what it means to me

My last 4 years have been a confusing, stressful muddled fuddle duddle Smile

I am an advocate. It's my nature to speak up to speak out.

Lesley is an opinionated person (no really, I am Smile ).

I have allowed myself to stray though. Self-doubts, emotional traumas, and just the trials of becoming post-op (no easy thing even in Canada where the cost is covered).

It is no simple thing being transgender.
It is no simple thing taking hormones and radically reshaping all that you are.
And it is surely no simple thing radically altering the form you arrived in this life wearing eh.

But I have lost my way until now me thinks. Understandable of course, but, now it's time to get back on track.

I am an advocate, and my method is in writing romance novels.
I am a transgender female and a heterosexual. I am not even a spec of a gay male.
I daydream of a man kissing me. The SAME way any hetero cisfemale does.
I daydream of hot passionate sex the same way any hetero cisfemale does.

I'm not saying there is no romance fiction out there for the rest of the spectrum, but I've never read any. And I love my romance novels dearly.

And it is my objective and goal to let society realize, transgender females like myself, we are no different than any hetero cisfemales when it comes to romance and dreams of finding Mr. Right.

Hi, I'm the forum's resident brat
I find it important to point out I am indeed the first member here Smile
