You find what you seek
Just some thoughts.
Negativity, if you seek it, you find it.
Negativity breeds negativity. Once you find it, it self-replicates in you.
Just because the voice is in your head, doesn't mean you have to trust it.
You have the right to be right, but you also have the right to be wrong.
Time doesn't necessarily heal. Sometimes you have to fix the problem.
Just because you waited a long time, doesn't mean the solution is closer.
You may be your problem. It doesn't have to be someone else's fault.
If it is indeed your fault, then you have to be the solution.
Life doesn't need to be fair. Life is just life.
If you wait for life to be nice to you, you might wait forever.
Life is indeed change.
Sometimes the greatest moments only happen when you accept change.
It is ok to be angry at injustice.
But if you never do something about it, it will just go on being an injustice.
Those that would do you wrong, rarely have a problem with it.
Never bite the hand offering you hand up.
They will be reluctant to get bitten again.

A lot of that is my mantra too! Twas thinking of adding stuff to it, but don't want to sound like a Lay Preacher!

Re: You find what you seek
On negativity, my wife is like that at the moment. She hates her job right now but can't leave it where it belongs. So she brings it home and on holiday. She's in a negative circle and can't see it. I try to tell her but she doesn't listen. She expects me to listen to her problems which I do of course. But my problems are not worth listening to.
She complains about her job but won't look at any possible solutions. I no longer offer any. But there is one. She can move back to my home city get a less pressurised job. Once there I can get work too and there's my family around for the kids. She even has a house there. I always felt it was a mistake to move to her home town. It left me isolated and her job was always a nightmare for her.
So every single thing you said applies to her. She refuses to see it. Nothing I say will be taken seriously.
One thing I learned is that life is not like a soap or a novel. There is usually no resolution all neatly tied up with a pink ribbon. So I don't anticipate change anytime soon.
