I have NO right to complain... really, none
I am Canadian and so thankful.
If you believe in climate-based worries, it's better to be in Canada.
If you don't support climate change worries, it's still better in Canada.
Pronouns, all that is transgender-based struggles, surgeries, hormones, name changes, laws about discrimination. It's better in Canada than in most places.
If you ain't transgender and merely poor... it's better in Canada.
Our Leader is cute and doesn't look like he will die before he ends his time in office.
Granted, he called an election for Fall. Not sure why.
Regardless, I'm glad Canadian politics isn't what you get in most of the world.
I'm disabled, and it doesn't really matter. I'm Canadian.
Passport issues, I don't care if anyone doesn't want me outside of Canada, I don't want to leave Canada.
Lockdown, yeah, it's a hassle.
It could be worse.
I'd rather be locked down in rural Canada.
I have zero reason to complain.
I'm in a nice place, in a nice town.
Listening to Armin van Buuren playing loudly.
The windows are open and the sun is shining and the weather hasn't been worth a mention all year.
Not perfect in all of Canada, but I'm in Central Ontario.
Fires, somewhere else, floods, somewhere else. Earthquakes, somewhere else.
And I don't have loonies shooting up the neighbourhood.
No wars nearby.
I AM grateful.
Grateful enough to welcome any woman who wants out of Afghanistan.
Grateful enough to suggest anyone in Haiti come here.
It's a big country.

Better to be in Canada by the sounds of it, than Australia, that seems to be trying so hard to be Little America. Even at the top tier of government, trying to roll back hard fought and won LGBTQ+ rights with the so-called "Religious Freedoms Act" which literally allows blatant discrimination towards LGBTQ+ peoples based on "faith".
Makes me sick to the stomach to think this is the world we live in.
The world I want to leave behind for generations after me is one where the social construct of "THE CLOSET" has been dismantled entirely, where sexual orientation and gender expression are no more unusual than changing one's hair colour.
I'd like to dismantle systematic discrimination. Sounds like I should just move to Canada

After I watched thejuicemedia on YouTube, I was stunned about a lot of things in Aus.
It isn't perfect here, but it isn't America downunder.
If you ever want to visit, I can give ya a roof to cut some expense while ya check out the place
